The pungent fragrance can be dispersed, the taste is bitter and can be relieved, and the warmth can be circulated, so it has the effect of regulating the qi mechanism, and can achieve the effects of relieving pain, dispersing stagnation, and reducing indigestion by regulating the qi mechanism. It is mainly used to treat qi stagnation and qi inversion caused by qi imbalance. Due to the different action sites and characteristics, they have the effects of regulating qi and invigorating the spleen, soothing the liver and relieving stagnation, regulating qi and widening the chest, promoting qi and relieving pain, breaking qi and dispelling stagnation, reducing adverse flow and relieving vomiting. It is respectively suitable for the treatment of abdominal distension and pain, belching and acid regurgitation, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea or constipation caused by stagnation of spleen and stomach Qi; distending pain in hypochondrium and ribs caused by stagnation of liver qi, depression, hernia pain, breast distending pain, irregular menstruation, etc. ; Chest tightness, chest pain, coughing and asthma caused by stagnation of lung qi.
This type of medicine is pungent, warm, fragrant and dry, and can easily consume qi and damage yin, so those with insufficient qi and yin should use it with caution.
Chen Pi
It was first recorded in "Shen Nong's Materia Medica".
This product is the dried and mature peel of the Rutaceae plant Tangerine and its cultivated varieties. Medicinal materials are divided into "tangerine peel" and "guangchenpi". The gas is fragrant, the taste is pungent, bitter. The ones with bright color and strong aroma are better. Shred, use raw.

This product has a spicy fragrance, warms bitterness and dryness, enters the spleen and stomach meridian, and has the functions of promoting qi, removing swelling, and drying dampness. It is most suitable for those with dampness blocking the middle burner. Those with mild spleen and stomach qi stagnation can be used alone, while those with severe qi stagnation can be used in combination.
2. Vomiting, hiccups
This product has the property of bitterness. "Famous Doctors Bielu" says it "lowers the breath and stops vomiting", and "Compendium of Materia Medica" says it "cures vomiting, nausea and noisy, and spits clear water", so it is a good product for treating vomiting and hiccups. For those who are cold, they can be used alone and ground into powder, or they can be mixed together.
3. Damp phlegm and cold phlegm, cough with excessive phlegm
This product is bitter and warm, good at drying dampness and resolving phlegm, and can regulate qi and widen the chest. It is an important medicine for treating damp phlegm and cold phlegm.
4. Chest paralysis
This product has pungent and warming properties, enters the lungs and travels through the chest, and can promote qi, relieve numbness and relieve pain. Cure chest obstruction due to phlegm and Qi obstruction, air blockage in the chest, and shortness of breath.

Functions: regulate qi, remove dampness and resolve phlegm. It is suitable for cough with excessive phlegm, excessive food and alcohol, nausea and vomiting. Decoction, 3~10g.
2. Orange core
It is the dry and mature seeds of Rutaceae plant Orange and its cultivated varieties. Bitter and flat in nature and flavor; returns to liver and kidney meridians. Functions: regulating qi, dispersing stagnation, and relieving pain. It is suitable for hernia pain, testicular swelling and pain, mastitis, etc. Decoct and take, 3~9g.
3. Orange network
It is a group of fiber bundles between the mesocarp and endocarp of the Rutaceae plant Orange and its cultivated varieties. The nature and flavor are sweet, bitter and flat. Return liver, lung meridian. Functions: promoting qi and unblocking collaterals, resolving phlegm and relieving cough. It is suitable for chest pain, cough, and excessive phlegm caused by phlegm stagnation in the meridians. Decoct and take, 3~5g.
4. Orange leaves
It is the leaves of Rutaceae plant Orange and its cultivated varieties. Nature and flavor are pungent, bitter, and flat. Returns to liver meridian. Function: Soothe the liver and promote qi, dissipate stagnation and reduce swelling. It is suitable for chest and flank pain, mastitis, breast lumps, etc. Decoct and take, 6~10g.
5. Turn orange red
It is the immature or nearly mature outer peel of the Rutaceae pomelo or pomelo. The former is commonly known as "Mao Juhong", while the latter is commonly known as "Light Seven Claws" and "Light Five Claws". Nature and flavor are pungent, bitter, warm; returns to lung and spleen meridians. Functions: regulate qi, remove dampness and resolve phlegm.
