The notes I compiled are based on the textbook "Prescriptions" of the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and some prescriptions that I think are good. The prescriptions written are all my personal experience, and the analysis methods are mainly based on the six meridians and the viscera. I am not a medical professional, studying medicine is purely a hobby. It is normal if there are mistakes in the text.

[Function] clearing away lung-heat, relieving cough and relieving asthma.
【Indications】Syndrome of heat evil obstructing the lung. Asthma and cough, steaming hot skin, especially at dusk, red tongue with yellow coating, thready pulse.
Dui Gua belongs to gold, its color is white, and its viscera are the lungs, so this recipe is called Xiebai San. Morus alba bark is sweet and cold, enters the lung and spleen meridian, has the effect of purging lung and relieving asthma, promoting water and reducing swelling; Digupi sweet, light and cold, enters lung and kidney meridian, has the effect of clearing heat and cooling blood, reducing asthenic heat, and is good at treating cough due to lung heat. Soil is the mother of gold, and if it is deficient, it nourishes its mother. Therefore, licorice is used to benefit the spleen, and japonica rice is used to clear the lungs and nourish the stomach. All medicines are used in combination to make lung heat come out from urine.
Heat evil blocking the lungs should relieve the surface, and the heat will come out from the lungs. However, the premise of sweating is sufficient body fluid in the body, and a thin pulse means insufficient body fluid is a sign of Yin damage, so sweating should be forbidden. Qian Yi also took into account the physical characteristics of children who are weak, immature yin and yang, and not resistant to cold and heat. And the pulse has no floating phenomenon, and the disease location is not on the surface, so the method of purging heat from urination is used for treatment.
The clinical application of this prescription needs to be differentiated from Tingli Dazao Xiefei Decoction in "Synopsis of the Golden Chamber". This prescription is for purging stagnation and heat in the lungs, and what is purging are invisible evils; the latter is for purging water, gas and phlegm in the lungs, and what is purging is invisible evils.
