What's the matter with frequent upset, palpitations, and insomnia?
There are very different types of people who study Chinese medicine. Some people master the knowledge through learning, which is enviable; . And I belong to the latter. When I was studying Chinese medicine at school, I worked hard. As a result, I was overworked and had heart problems. For a while, I was upset, insomnia at night, lying in bed with anxiety, feeling that my heart was beating wildly, and I was afraid of myself. He died, and after checking his heart, he found palpitations, and there was an obvious phenomenon of "stealing" (premature beats).

So what's going on here?

At the beginning, I went to see a Western doctor. At that time, I just learned Chinese medicine, and I didn’t understand how Chinese medicine treats diseases. As a result, Western medicine couldn’t help me. So I forced myself to read Chinese medicine textbooks, and then I realized that this is the heart. Deficiency of both qi and yin, and deficiency of heart yin.

A few days ago, I analyzed the situation of heart-yang deficiency (you can poke here) for everyone. It is estimated that many friends have understood the knowledge. Today, let’s talk about heart-yin deficiency, because we only talk about yang deficiency, not yin Xu, that is very unkind, in the past he would be scolded as a hooligan, so let's take a serious look at the situation of heart yin deficiency. [Yun Shao has something to say: If there is a person who often says - "I will tell you later", and then there is no more after that, is it also called a hooligan picture? (Everyone, take care, Ben was so young that he ran away with the lid on the pot...)]

So, what exactly is heart yin deficiency?

This, we must first figure out what is "yin". I have been introducing concepts to you these days. In fact, the so-called "Yin" is the material basis for our body to be calm and moisturized. For example, various body fluids are "Yin", including essence, blood and body fluid.

Heart Yin Deficiency Syndrome refers to the lack of Yin fluid in a person's body, unable to nourish the body, resulting in a loss of nourishment for the heart, resulting in deficiency of heat. The heart is like the engine of a car, and the heart yin is like the engine inside the engine. Lubricating oil, or the water in the cooled water tank, if this is deficient, it will cause the engine to get hotter and hotter.

Therefore, at this time, what is reflected in the Heart Meridian is an asthenic fire, which causes internal disturbance of asthenic heat, so there will be upset, palpitations, and insomnia. These three are the main symptoms of heart yin deficiency. At the same time, there are other symptoms of yin deficiency, such as hot hands and feet, dry mouth and throat, night sweats at night, hair loss, tinnitus, hot flashes due to bone steam, dry stool, yellow and red urine, red tongue with thin or no coating, pulse Beat fast and wait for the certificate.

What I want to emphasize here is the red tongue. If other symptoms are vague, this red tongue is more intuitive.

So, why is there a situation of heart yin deficiency?

In fact, heart yin deficiency is a part of the whole body’s yin deficiency, but it is mainly reflected in the heart. Therefore, there are all causes of yin deficiency, and the specific reasons are as follows:

1. Thinking too much, thinking about problems every day, racking your brains, wasting your mind secretly;

2. Warm and hot fire evil due to exogenous pathogenic factors, burning heart and yin;

3. Unsmooth emotions, uneasy liver qi, anger arouses heart fire, and consumes heart yin;

4. Insufficient kidney yin, the water in the kidney meridian cannot benefit the heart yin, and the yin fluid in the heart will be consumed, causing internal deficiency heat;

5. The yin deficiency state of the whole body drags down the heart, resulting in insufficient heart yin.

Deficiency of yin fluid, loss of nourishment to the heart, arrhythmia, so palpitations; loss of nourishment of the mind, deficiency of fire disturbing the mind, and inability to keep the mind, restlessness, insomnia, and dreaminess; yin deficiency, loss of moistening, so dry mouth and throat, body shape Weight loss; hot hands, feet, and heart, hot flashes in the afternoon, night sweats, red cheekbones, red tongue with little fluid, thready pulse, etc., are signs of yin deficiency and internal heat.

So, how to deal with this lack of heart yin?

We can use the ideas of nourishing yin and nourishing blood, nourishing the heart and tranquilizing the mind, and can learn from the prescription of the ancient prescription Tianwang Buxin Dan.

Tianwang Buxin Dan is a commonly used Chinese patent medicine. Its prescription comes from the book "Shi Yi De Xiao Fang" in the Yuan Dynasty. The current Chinese patent medicine Tianwang Buxin Pill is composed of traditional Chinese medicines such as Shengdi, Codonopsis, Scrophulariaceae, Asparagus, Ophiopogon japonicus, Danshen, Angelica, Poria, Shichangpu, Polygala, Schisandra, Jujube Seed, Baiziren, Cinnabar and Campanulaceae.

It has the effects of invigorating the heart and calming the nerves, nourishing yin and clearing away heat. It is suitable for the treatment of deficiency, palpitation, restless sleep, mental fatigue, nocturnal emission and forgetfulness, impatience to think, dry stool or sore mouth caused by deficiency of heart and kidney and lack of blood. Pregnant women are forbidden to take it.

This prescription reuses raw land, nourishes kidney water to nourish yin, and water can control fire. Radix Scrophulariae, Radix Asparagus, and Ophiopogon japonicus have the effect of nourishing the cold and clearing fire, and Danshen and Angelica are used to nourish and activate blood. All of the above are designed for nourishing yin and nourishing blood. In the prescription, ginseng and poria cocos are beneficial to qi and calm the heart, jujube seed and schisandra sour are used to restrain the heart qi and soothe the mind, and cypress kernels, polygala and cinnabar are nourishing the heart and calming the nerves. Orange stool, can carry medicine up.

Among the prescriptions, the most criticized one is cinnabar. Cinnabar has a certain toxicity, but when the mind is in panic, it is really difficult to deter people without using this medicine. Therefore, the medication should be discontinued immediately after the illness occurs, and should not be used for a long time.

I used this Tianwang Buxin Pill myself at that time, which is the name of the current Chinese patent medicine, because I was lying in bed at night, feeling terrified all day long, with a sense of fear that I would die. I was just learning In Chinese medicine, I repeatedly analyzed my body against the books, and felt that I needed to use this medicine to strengthen my health, so I took two or three pills, and the problem was solved. I no longer panic, but I didn't take any more.

In normal times, we can use the idea of this prescription to remove the cinnabar, and use this idea of nourishing yin and calming the nerves to solve the problem.

I remember that I used Zhigancao soup (you can poke it here) to cure my palpitations at the end. They are all similar, and they are effective after one set, and cured after three or five sets. It's just that Tianwang Buxin Pills use more drugs in calming the nerves, so the direction will be slightly different.

Dear friends, today we will introduce heart yin deficiency here, and we will introduce more heart health care methods in the future. I hope you can learn more about heart yin deficiency to protect yourself and your family’s heart!
