Mainly used for rheumatism arthralgia pain in limbs, unfavorable joints, swelling, contracture of tendons and other diseases. Some drugs are also suitable for soreness of the waist and knees, flaccidity and weakness of the lower limbs, etc.
Rheumatism-dispelling medicines are divided into three categories: wind-damp-dampness-dispelling medicines, rheumatism-heat-dispelling medicines, and wind-damp-dampness-strengthening medicines according to their medicinal properties and efficacy. It is respectively suitable for wind-cold-damp arthralgia, rheumatism-heat arthralgia, and those with long-term arthralgia syndrome and weak muscles and bones.
Rheumatism-dispelling herbs that are pungent, warm and dry in nature can easily injure yin and consume blood, so those with deficiency of yin and blood should be used with caution.

This product is the dried body of Viperidae five-step snake. Fishy smell, slightly salty taste. It is better to have a complete head and tail, large stripes, obvious patterns and plaques, and clean inner walls. Remove the head and scales, cut into inch sections, and use raw or roasted in wine; or remove the head, moisten it with rice wine, remove the scales and bones, and dry it to make Viper meat.

1. Rheumatic obstinate numbness, numbness and spasm
This product has the property of running away, warm in nature and dredging the collaterals, can move the viscera internally, reach the muscle surface externally and search the wind through the bones, so as to remove the pathogenic wind from inside and outside, it is an essential medicine for intercepting wind, and it can dredge the meridians. It is not suitable, but it is especially good at treating chronic rheumatic numbness, unfavorable meridian, numbness and spasm.
2. Apoplectic mouth and eyes 㖞 (wāi) oblique, hemiplegia
This product "penetrates the meridians, searches for wind evils", and is good at expelling wind, dredging the meridians and activating collaterals, so it can be used to treat apoplexy, hemiplegia, convulsions and convulsions.
3. Convulsions, tetanus, convulsions in children
