Drugs whose main functions are to unblock water channels and seep out water and dampness, and are often used to treat the syndrome of internal water-dampness, are called medicines for diluting water and expelling dampness.

This type of medicine has the effects of diuresis and swelling, diuresis and stranguria, diuresis and jaundice reduction.

The diuretic and dampness-removing medicines are mainly used to treat various diseases caused by water-dampness such as edema, difficulty in urination, diarrhea, phlegm, stranguria, jaundice, eczema, vaginal discharge, dampness and warmth. When using diuretic and dampness-removing drugs, the corresponding drugs must be selected according to different disease syndromes, and the appropriate combinations must be made.

Drugs for promoting diuresis and expelling dampness are easy to consume and damage body fluid. Diuretics

The nature and flavor of this type of medicine are mostly bitter and cold, or sweet and mildly cold. It was first recorded in "Shen Nong's Materia Medica".

It is a commonly used medicine for treating stranguria syndrome. Treats dysuria due to damp-heat, hot stranguria and anuria; stone stranguria.

2. Summer-dampness polydipsia, dampness-warm onset

This product is sweet, light and cold. It can not only relieve water-dampness, but also relieve summer-heat. It is a commonly used medicine for treating summer-dampness and dampness-warmth. Treats summer heat, polydipsia, short and red urine, headache and aversion to cold, heaviness, chest tightness, stringy, thin and wet pulse.

3. Damp and hot water diarrhea

This product not only clears heat, relieves summer heat and removes dampness, but also helps clear water and secrete turbidity. It is said to be able to "separate water channels and strengthen the large intestine". It is especially suitable for diarrhea due to damp heat or summer heat, and difficulty in urination; it can also be used to treat diarrhea due to summer heat.

4. Eczema, eczema, prickly heat

This product has the effect of clearing away heat, removing dampness and curing sores when used externally.
