It tastes bitter and cold, has a tonifying and clearing property. It can clear the fire of the heart meridian and relieve the heat of the small intestine. It is often used to treat inflammation of the heart fire, sores on the mouth and tongue, or upset stomach and red urine caused by the heart fire moving down to the small intestine.

3. Amenorrhoea, scanty breasts, damp-heat numbness and pain

This product enters the blood and can stimulate menstruation and release breast milk. It is used to treat blood stasis, amenorrhea, lack of milk or obstruction, diuretic blood vessels, unblock joints, and treat damp-heat paralysis.

This product is the dried cane of Akebia or Hydrangea vine of the Ranunculaceae family. Bitter in nature and flavor, cold; Guixin, small intestine, bladder meridian. Functions: diuresis and treating stranguria, clearing the heart and removing troubles, promoting menstruation and lowering breast milk. It is suitable for stranguria syndrome, edema, upset, red urine, mouth and tongue sores, amenorrhea, lack of breast milk, and damp-heat numbness and pain. Decoction, 3~6g. Pregnant women should use with caution; not suitable for long-term or large-scale use.
