This study also confirmed that long-term use of Tamoxifen will enhance the drug resistance of cancer cells. The study consulted more than 4,700 postmenopausal women with breast cancer in 37 countries. However, the findings do not apply to premenopausal women, or patients with breast cancer not caused by estrogen.
