In summer, the weather is relatively hot. For many people, cold drinks and chilled fruits are indispensable at this time. Sometimes, as soon as they enter the house from outside, the sweat on their bodies has not dissipated, so they rush to eat something cold. to cool down. But in this case, my mouth addiction is too much, and I feel cool, but can my body bear it?
In summer, some people may experience abdominal tightness, severe and unbearable pain after eating cold food or catching wind and cold. This is because external evil invades and cold air stagnates, causing the meridians of the spleen and stomach to stagnate. Blockage of Qi movement causes abdominal pain, that is, "if there is no flow, there will be pain".
"Suwen Ju Pain Theory" records: "The cold air is between the intestines and stomach, under the membrane, the blood cannot be scattered, and the small collaterals are drawn urgently, so it hurts."
Abdominal pain due to cold is nothing more than a feeling of cold evil and stagnation of cold air. Some people here may have doubts. The weather is hot in summer, how can they still feel cold evil? In summer, the "wind" and the temperature of the air conditioner are too low, which will easily make the human body feel the wind and cold, which will cause some diseases, abdominal pain is one of them; there are also unrestrained eating and eating raw and cold foods, which will cause cold evil in the spleen and stomach. stagnation, stagnation of visceral qi, abdominal pain occurs.
In this case, don't panic, you can use moxibustion to treat the following points:
Zhongwan point
In the upper abdomen, 4 inches above the middle of the navel, on the front midline (8 inches between the navel and the xiphobic joint). Zhongwan is the mu point of the stomach, and the mu point is the acupoint where the qi of the viscera is infused into the chest and abdomen. Moreover, Zhongwan is also the acupoint of the six Fu organs, which has the effect of dredging the Qi mechanism in the middle burner and regulating the Qi in the middle.
Shenque point
It is the navel, also known as the navel, which is the main point on the Ren meridian. It has the functions of warming the middle and dispelling cold, warming and nourishing yang.
Tianshu point
In the abdomen, horizontally level the navel, open two inches lateral to the anterior midline. Tianshu point is the recruiting point of the large intestine, which is the source of Yangming meridian qi. It is mainly used for dredging and regulating the intestines, regulating qi and stagnation, and eliminating food. It is an important point for the treatment of abdominal diseases.
Hegu point
On the back of the hand, between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones, at the midpoint of the radial side of the 2nd metacarpal bone. Hegu Point is the original point of the Large Intestine Meridian of Hand-Yangming, which can dredge the intestinal qi and relieve pain. Acupuncture anesthesia was very popular for a while, and Hegu was selected for acupuncture. In addition to treating abdominal pain, Hegu can also treat head and face diseases, upper limb pain and sweating.
D
Zusanli, on the outer side of the calf, three inches below the calf's nose, one finger outside the anterior crest of the tibia. Zusanli is the lower He acupoint of the stomach, and the lower He acupoint is the acupoint where the qi of the six fu-organs connects with the three yang meridians of the foot. Stay", indicating that Zusanli is often used to treat abdominal diseases. Combined with Zhongwan and Neiguan, it has the effects of harmonizing the stomach and reducing adverse effects, widening the middle and regulating qi, and mainly treating epigastric pain.

How to operate:
Use moxa sticks for gentle moxibustion. You can choose 2 to 4 acupoints each time and moxibustion for 10 to 15 minutes, once a day until the condition is fully recovered.
In summer, there is a high incidence of gastrointestinal diseases. The weather is hot, and food is prone to spoilage. Eating unclean food or being too greedy for cold will damage the body. We should pay attention to our eating habits in normal times, and we should not think about ourselves being young and strong, and covet the enjoyment of a quick tongue, otherwise it will give rise to diseases and bring troubles to ourselves. In summer, we can eat some bitter food appropriately, which can increase appetite and relieve heat. However, it should be noted that the elderly, children and people with weak spleen and stomach should not eat too much bitter food, so as not to damage the spleen and stomach and be counterproductive.
Finally, I would like to share with you a medical case:
medical records
The patient is my father-in-law, a middle-aged and elderly man. After eating cold noodles for half an hour in mid-July, he had unbearable abdominal distension and abdominal pain. Considering that he had just eaten cold food, he was preliminarily judged to be cold in the large intestine. , there was no suitable needle and only a box of moxa sticks, so I chose moxibustion treatment. I lit the moxa stick and hung it about 2 cm above the Hegu on the right side, and blew the fire quickly for about 20 seconds. The patient said that there seemed to be a stream of qi rushing from Hegu to the top of his head, and the abdominal distension and pain suddenly disappeared as if he was deflated.
"Lingshu Meridian" records that "those who use fire to relieve the fire, blow the fire quickly, pass on the moxa, and the fire must be extinguished." It shows that moxibustion not only has the effect of tonifying, but also has a purging method. The author happened to test it. Blow the fire quickly, intensify the combustion and consume a large amount of oxygen, causing the surrounding air to flow quickly to supplement, forming a kind of air flow force, and the skin and the external air have a certain connection, when this force is greater than the binding force of the meridian points on the meridian qi , the menstrual qi will be discharged to the outside. Its purging power is so fierce that it cannot be used lightly unless it is proved by Dasheng Dashi (the above methods need to be operated according to the actual situation, and must not be used at will without considering the patient's condition).
