"Sugar friends" check, believe in numbers too much, risk death!
An old colleague of mine, we often sang and played together. One day I left the park at 10:30, and he was fine at that time. But when I called him again at 13:11 that day, he had a myocardial infarction...

Why am I having a heart attack even though my physical examination is normal?

He told us that everything was normal during the physical examination at the beginning of the year. Why was the traffic jam so fast? I told him my understanding:
Check the blood lipids or other aspects of the blood test. The blood drawn out is flowing blood, and the plaques retained on the blood vessel walls cannot be drawn out. These plaques cannot be seen without color ultrasound, especially for heart problems. It cannot be seen without coronary angiography. So you let the numbers fool you.

Take the laboratory tests of "sugar lovers" as an example. There are many people who have normal fasting blood sugar and do not take medicine or injections. The misdiagnosis rate of using fasting blood sugar to determine whether you have diabetes is 70% to 80%. What a terrible number! An old colleague of mine passed away this year because he only measured fasting blood sugar but not postprandial blood sugar for more than ten years. If the fasting blood sugar was normal, he would not take medicine. If the fasting blood sugar was normal, he would take medicine for a few days. If it was not normal, he would take medicine for a few days. This resulted in many complications.

blinded by feelings

Many people don't feel anything about high blood sugar, but the feeling of low blood sugar is very scary. If you and your family suddenly find that you are a little irritable, annoyed, looking for a fight, or depressed and unhappy, and you are not as talkative as usual, your Blood sugar may be at a high level. Don't ignore these seemingly normal "bad tempers" and "sickness", as these will reflect unstable blood sugar. Will there be any complications in the long run? Will blood vessels be "blocked"?

Blinded by blood sugar test values
Some people also say that if blood sugar control is very standard, will there be complications? My answer is yes - yes! Because "normal people" without diabetes also have the opportunity to suffer from serious diseases such as myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction, and cancer. There is no age limit. The disease affects human beings - children and adults are innocent!

Data provide us with a basis for adjusting treatment plans, but don’t be fooled by the numbers. Another example: postprandial blood sugar of 8.1mmol/L and 9.5mmol/L. Does it make sense to struggle with the error of 1.4? 8.1 is above the standard, and 9.5 is also above the standard. Can you say that if the postprandial blood sugar is 8.1mmol/L, there will be no complications, but if the blood sugar is 9.5mmol/L, there will definitely be complications? In general, the correct thing to do is to keep your blood sugar stable rather than looking at your blood sugar levels from moment to moment.

Correctly manage diabetes and remember the four fives
To control diabetes well, the key is to achieve the "five carriages", "five points" and "two five no's":

Five carriages: receive health knowledge education and adjust a good mentality; control diet; strengthen exercise; monitor blood sugar and various indicators in a timely manner; and take medication in a timely manner.

Five points: Eat less, understand more, learn more, be happy and relax.
The two "five no's" are the five no's in life - no greed, no laziness, no hurry, no tiredness, no anger;

Five Don'ts in diet - no sweet, no salty, no spicy, no greasy, no tobacco or alcohol.
Knowledge is easier said than done, it all depends on your patience. As long as you have patience and work hard, what's the difficulty?

Finally, I would like to emphasize that you must insist on measuring blood sugar and go to the hospital regularly to check glycated hemoglobin. People with diabetes are more vulnerable than ordinary people because they must control blood sugar well to prevent complications.
