1. Edema, beriberi edema, difficulty urinating
This product has light osmosis, sweetness and nourishment, which can not only diuresis and reduce swelling, but also invigorate the spleen and nourish the middle. It is often used for edema, abdominal distension and dysuria caused by spleen deficiency and excessive dampness; to treat edema and dyspnea; beriberi and edema.
2. Spleen deficiency and diarrhea
This product can infiltrate and eliminate spleen dampness, invigorate the spleen and relieve diarrhea, and is especially suitable for treating diarrhea caused by spleen deficiency and excessive dampness.
3. Damp arthralgia spasm
This product is ginseng-damp and eliminates numbness, can relax tendons and arteries, and ease spasms. It is often used to treat dampness arthralgia and tendon contraction and acute pain; damp-heat flaccidity syndrome, numbness of both feet, flaccidity, swelling and pain; Points, headache aversion to cold, chest tightness and heavy body.
4. Lung abscess, intestinal abscess
This product clears the heat in the lung and intestine, expels pus and eliminates carbuncle. Treat lung abscess, chest pain, cough and spit thick phlegm, intestinal abscess.
5. Wart, cancer
Coix seed can detoxify and dissipate stagnation. It can also be used clinically for warts and cancer.
[Usage and Dosage] Decoction, 9~30g. It is suitable for raw use for clearing away dampness and heat, and it is suitable for stir-frying for invigorating the spleen and relieving diarrhea.

[Drugs for Differentiation] Coix seed and Poria both belong to the Spleen Meridian, both can invigorate the spleen, diuresis and exudate dampness. For the syndrome of spleen deficiency and excessive dampness, it must be used regularly. But Coix Seed is cool in nature and can eliminate numbness, drain pus, detoxify and dissipate stagnation, and is commonly used for damp arthralgia, lung abscess, intestinal abscess, warts, and cancer. Poria cocos is gentle in nature, and it is an important medicine for diuresis and dampness. Its diuresis and dampness and spleen invigorating power are stronger than those of coix seed. It can be used in combination with edema, regardless of cold, heat, deficiency or excess. It is used to treat dizziness, palpitations, coughs, etc. for phlegm-retention diseases. It also has a calming effect. It is often used to treat palpitations, insomnia and dreaminess.
